Decrease Anxiety, Increase Energy & Enjoy Your Life

Anxiety seems to be on the rise. I read the New York Times each morning and it is full of news that could turn on the Anxiety spigot for any sane person. If I start feeling anxious about the economy, the national debt, the supposedly murder of Caylee (which turned out not to be so), the unidentified bodies found in the marsh on Long Island, the uprisings in North Africa, the greed of Wall Street, Madoff's deceptions, the Texas executions that later DNA analysis found to be incorrect, the tornedos, the hurricanes, gangs in San Jose, I deliberately put my attention in my big toe and keep my attention inside my body, checking out various organs for 90 seconds.

Then I am off to the office to enjoy my day.

i recognize that this behavior sounds sourt of weird, but I cannot fix any of those natural and un-natural catastrophes. I can spend my day feeling great, and do a few small things to improve other people's lives. But first, my own life needs to be working, my energy flowing, without anxiety. Try switching your attention to your big toe. This works.
